Wilma M. Stinson, 65, of West Grove, formerly of Glenmoore, died on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. She was the wife of the late D. Andrew Stinson. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Vance M. and Lillian Devonshire Matlack.

An area resident all her life, she was a 1963 graduate of the Downingtown High School. Wilma was employed for many years as a church organist.

She is survived by three children; J. Troy Stinson of Mohnton, PA, Heidi S. Phillips of West Grove and Andrew M. Stinson of Exton, three grandchildren Justin, Haley and Tyler and one sister Lois M. Crawford of Marshallton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1282 West Strasburg Road, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by interment at Bradford Cemetery in Marshallton. Visitation at the church from 10 to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.

Please note, there is road construction through the whole village of Marshallton.  They are working  opposite the church driveway right now.  Enter and exit the church through the Four Dogs Tavern parking lot, (along the right side of the Four Dogs and to the left behind it).  There is a dirt road connecting the church parking lots.  Anyone coming from the West Chester side has to detour south of the village on Cann Rd. and come up Northbrook at the other end of the village.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg. Online condolences may be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com

It is with great sadness as I heard about the passing of Billi. She was such a fun loving person, and always had a smile on her face. My life is richer in knowing Billi and her family. She will truly be missed.
