Raffier
April 23, 1934 – May 27, 2026
Thomas Raffier, born on April 23, 1934, in Gilbertsville, Massachusetts, passed away on May 27, 2026, in Sadsburyville, Pennsylvania. His life was marked by dedication, service, and a deep commitment to his family and country.
Thomas honorably served in the Army, stationed in Alaska, during the Korean War, a testament to his courage and patriotism in a time of great challenge. His military service remains a proud chapter of his life, reflecting the values of duty and sacrifice he carried throughout his years.
Born and raised in Gilbertsville, Thomas later made his home in Sadsburyville, where he spent his final days surrounded by loved ones. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Debra Gray (Sidney) who along with her own family, stood by his side through thick and thin. His legacy continues through his granddaughters, Jennifer Felker (Glenn) and Julie Ramsey (Shane) as well as through his great-grandchildren (Gavin, Ethan and Logan Felker and Madison McComsey). Also his great-great-granddaughter Luna Mae Walker.
He worked at G. O. Carlson in sales for 44 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening in his spare time.
These cherished family ties speak to the enduring impact he had on those closest to him.
Though his beloved wife Marjorie preceded him in death, Thomas’s memory lives on in the hearts of his surviving family members. The love and respect they hold for him are echoes of a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.
Thomas Raffier is remembered with great reverence and affection, leaving behind a lasting legacy of service, love, and family devotion. His life journey stands as a noble example for all who knew him, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
