James O. Walton, 77, of Coatesville, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte Ann Meadows Walton with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Valley Forge, PA, he was the son of the late Percy L. Walton and Florence M. Webster Walton.

Jim was an area resident all his life. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Bronze Star Medal for Valor in action. He was employed by the former Schramm Company in West Chester retiring as Production Supervisor.

He was a faithful member of the Wyebrook Baptist Church of Elverson, PA.

Jim is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Crissy Heath and husband Danny of Saltville, VA and Jim A. Walton and fiance Tara Potter of Lancaster, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two siblings; Harvey J. Walton and wife Evelyn of Lancaster and Lilly M. Brown and husband Walter of Gap, PA. He was preceded in death by one sister Mary F. Seymour.

The Walton Family wanted to make special recognition of Jim's caregiver Juenelle Bevas for all the tender love, support and comfort she provided for Jim and the family the past few difficult months.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing and visitation from 10:00 AM to the time of the service followed by interment at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, East Fallowfield, PA.
