Aleah F. Donkewicz

Aleah F. Donkewicz, 75, of Gap, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the York Hospital in York, PA. She was the beloved wife of Terry Lee Donkewicz, Sr. with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Born in "Beaver Dam" East Fallowfield Township, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lee Stone and Margaret Simms Stone.

Aleah was an area resident all her life. She was employed as a nurses' aide at the Harrison House Nursing Home in Christiana, PA.

She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Phillies and going to the casino as well as going out to eat with family and friends and doing things with her best friend Ginny

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons; Terry L. Donkewicz, Jr. of Gap, and David Donkewicz and wife Hope of Womelsdorf, PA, three grandchildren, Jeffery, Jonathan and David, two great grandchildren, Catie and Matthew and five siblings; Raymond Stone, Zella Seace , Susan McCaffary, Barbara Cummings, and Madeline Gibson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Ann Wertz, and siblings Florence Sheer, Betty Phillips, William Stone Sr., Mary Lou Cummings, Howard Lee Stone, Jr. and Georgia Root.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, 2237 Strasburg Road, Coatesville, PA.
