He was the beloved husband of Yolanda "Yola" Umile Sagnor, with whom he would have shared 60 years of marriage on August 12th of this year.

Born on March 21, 1927 in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Arthur L. Sr. and Edna Mulvaney Sagnor.  An area resident his entire life, he attended Scott High School where he excelled in football, playing Left Guard on Coatesville's undefeated 1943 team as well as the 1944 team.  He was a member of the US Navy, enlisting before his 18th birthday.  Ozzie served in the Pacific Theater during W.W.II.  He retired in 1989 after 42 years of employment at the former Lukens Steel Co. and was a member of the Steel Workers Union #1165.  He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #287 and the Parkesburg Fire CO.

Ozzie was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church of Parkesburg.

Ozzie was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was a faithful spectator at all his grandchildren's athletic evens.  He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed watching all the professional Philadelphia Teams as well as NASCAR.  Ozzie enjoyed animals and nature, and was a "true environmentalist."

He appreciated all the help and support from his neighbors on East Second Avenue.  Ozzie will be greatly missed by the staff and patients at the DaVita Jennersville Dialysis Center.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children: Carol A. Entrekin, wife of David, of Parkesburg and Arthur L. Sagnor III of West Chester; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Bradley and Alexandrea, and two step grandchildren, Gretchen and Erika; and nine great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his three siblings: Francis, Sonny and Edith.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa, followed by interment in the St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Coatesville.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will held from 9:30 until 11 AM.

Art, I heard the sad news about the passing of your Dad. I'm awfully sorry to hear this and my prayers are with you and your family. I didn't know your Dad, but his Death Notice provided a fine overview on his life. He sounded like a great man who loved his family and his country. You've loyally been by your Dad's side and that alone says a lot about you, Art, as a person. You're a good man and I wish you the best at this time.

Art, I just got the sad news yesterday from Mike Hagan of your dad's passing. I have a dad who's 90 years old, and I try to talk to him every day and savor the time that I have left with him. I recall that you and your dad were very close. I seem to recall that he was a marine and worked in the steel industry most of his life... a true salt of the earth kind of guy. You can rest knowing that he's in a better place. Hang in there.

Sincerely,
Slade

Brad and Ms. Carol I and my family wish to offer you all our deepest sympathy for your loss I leave you with my little poem of comfort.

You can turn your back on tomorrow, and live in yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow, because of yesterday.
You can remember him, only that he is gone,
or you can cherish his memory, and let it live on.
You can shed tears, that he is gone,
or you can smile, because he has Lived.

So smile

Scincerly Timothe R. Lambert and family.
