Gwendell Mae Phillips (Ranck)

Age 71, of Honey Brook, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2026.

Gwendell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her.

She was the beloved wife of John H. Phillips. She leaves behind her son, John Phillips, and his girlfriend Jen, and her daughter, Nicole Albright, and her husband Kurt. She was a proud grandmother to Connor, Kody, Natalee, and Colby, who brought so much love and joy into her life.

Gwendell devoted more than thirty years of her life to an in-home daycare. She opened her home and her heart to so many children over the years, becoming an important and loving part of their lives.

Mom was funny, fun-loving, and had a personality that made her unforgettable. She enjoyed playing bingo and games with family and friends, her beautiful iris flowers, feeding her birds especially her favorite hummingbirds, the color green, and spending special time visiting her and Dad's camper in Maryland. She treasured the simple moments spent with the people she loved, and the memories made along the way.

Most importantly, toward the latter part of her life, Mom found her Faith in Jesus Christ. She accepted Him into her heart and was saved. Her family finds comfort knowing that she is now at peace and in the loving presence of her Savior.

Mom's life was not defined by the difficult days, but by the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the many lives she touched throughout her seventy-one years.

She will forever be Mom, Grandmom, Wife, and Friend and she will always be loved. We love you always and we know you are walking with Jesus.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
