Rebecca Susan McMahon

Rebecca Susan Wilson-McMahon, was born in Cold Spring, New York. She was a generous, adventurous spirit completing her journey here on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the age of 69.

She is survived by her husband Gerald McMahon with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, two children; Gerald McMahon Junior and Jennifer Zummo, three grandchildren, Derek and Emma Zummo and Logan McMahon, along with her sister and “Irish twin” Doris Marple, brother in law Edward Marple, niece, Anne Vazquez, Joel Vazquez, Aven Vazquez and Zara Vazquez and future son in law Christopher VanLysebettens. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Wilson and Margaret Tandy Wilson.

Rebecca, “Becky", "Suzy" was a lover of animals, sharing a great bond especially with horses. She was a talented artist, shared her artwork with family and she even sold some of her beautiful beach themed prints. She adored the Tri-State area and rock bands; especially Stevie Nicks. She kept an extensive vintage album collection. She was a talented musician who had a beautiful voice and serious tambourine skills. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas, she would go “all out”!!!

As a former school bus driver, Becky was so well liked by the kids and parents that at Christmas time her kitchen table would be filled with thoughtful gifts.

She spent her life loving her family and making sure she connected with them every day. We knew she was always thinking about us and when she couldn’t see someone in person, you could bet on a phone call or a funny video message that she had to share to make everyone smile.

Her family is finding comfort in knowing she is at peace now, surrounded with love and reunited with her beloved Sandy girl and Salem. Embarking on her next adventure in her VW bus in the sky. Her hippie spirit and Gypsy soul will be carried on by everyone she touched.

Her song is over now, but her melody lingers on.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
