June 11, 1984 -November 2, 2022

38 years old Charleston, South Carolina

We are brokenhearted, and sad to announce the passing of Jeffrey “Otto” Baldovich of Charleston, South Carolina. He died at age 38 on November 2, 2022, with his family by his side after suffering a catastrophic stroke.

Jeffrey graduated from Pequea Valley High School in 2003, and Drexel University in 2008. After graduation he worked in photography, and openheartedly practiced and taught yoga. He was an accomplished yoga instructor in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. He was a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), working at Urban Nirvana, and most recently Woodhouse both in Charleston.

His ideal days would find him biking, camping with friends, and floating in the tranquil water surrounding Charleston. Otto referred to himself as “Caretaker of Daphne Dog.” They were the perfect pair - she accompanied him everywhere, eager to be by his side biking, playing on the beach, or relaxing at home.

He is survived by his parents James and Barbara Baldovich; sister Jessica Bailey (Joseph); brother Kevin (Patricia); niece and nephews Caitlyn, Andy, and Kip; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Avenue, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Condolences

Jim, Barb, Jess, & Kevin - we were shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff's passing.  We have so many wonderful memories of our kids playing "capture the flag" and just hanging out together.  He was the life of their party when they were together.  Please know that all of you are in our prayers as you move forward.

Sincerely, Chuck and Becky Hershey, Sarah, Bryan, and Allison
