Shirley Yvonne Hammond, 81, of Downingtown, Pa, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at St. Martha's Manor in Downingtown.  She was the wife of the late Herbert C. Hammond Jr., who passed away in 2010.  She was born in Parkesburg, PA and was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Margaret Crawford London. 

She enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles many of which she framed to decorate the home with. She also enjoyed watching what she called "the stories".

She is survived by her children, Yvonne Ray, Herbert Hammond III, Edward Hammond, Debbie Coleman, Diane Tucker, and Phyllis Hammond, She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.  She is preceded in death by her youngest child Steven Bruce Hammond. She is survived by a sister Margaret Perry and two brothers Carl and Robbie London. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles London, Sherman London and Sheraton London.
