Nancy Jeanne White Eimerbrink, 93, of Parkesburg, PA, formerly of York, PA, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was the wife of the late Charles H. "Harry" Eimerbrink to whom she was married for 45 years. Born in McKeesport, PA, and raised in Clairton & Finleyville (Washington County), she was the daughter of the late Eugene T. and Gertrude I. (Ludwick) White.
Nancy was a 1953 graduate from Penn State with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education--and she let everyone know she was a proud Penn Stater. She worked for the School District of the City of York for over 35 years where she taught, was cheerleading advisor, and girls' basketball bookkeeper. She was an active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Roundtown, Delta Kappa Gamma, and the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
Nancy enjoyed her horses, gardening, and watching sports on TV, but she was especially devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was proud to be the wife of Harry, a WWII navy veteran, and she traveled with him to all of his ship reunions. He called her his "guardian angel" following times of severe illness--something her children and grandchildren could also say. She lived a humble Christian life in service to others, and she lived simply in order to provide for others.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Eimerbrink of York, Kathryn Eimerbrink Michalowski of Parkesburg, Cynthia Eimerbrink Rinaldi of Sykesville, MD, and Harry (Ashley) Eimerbrink of York; grandchildren, Kathleen (Jupin) Wilt, Carson Michalowski, Gillian Michalowski, Mimi Rinaldi, Jack Rinaldi, Kelcie Eimerbrink, and Grace Eimerbrink; great-grandchild, Gretta Wilt; a sister, Barbara White of Finleyville,PA, and many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life, which will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Roundtown Fellowship Hall at 12 pm on Saturday, June 28 (498 Church Road, York, 17406). Private interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.
