Carol Ann Souders, 77, of West Caln, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Edward B. Souders, Sr. with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Stanton, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Frank Schwartz and Lucy D'Angelo Schwartz. 

Carol was a 1963 graduate of the Stanton High School in Stanton, DE. She attended St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown, PA and more recently the Pequea Baptist Church of Gap, PA.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by six children; David Hall of New Jersey, Michelle and Jeffery Hoopes of Ephrata, PA, Kim Souders of Maryland, Dr. Edward Souders, Jr. and wife Denise of East Fallowfield, PA, Luann Thomas and husband Paul of Gap, PA, and Tyler Leed of West Caln, PA, 13 grandchildren; Amanda and Zach Morris, Nicholas and Kelsey Souders, Bryan and Katie Thomas, Specialist Raymond Chilcote, Austin and Emily Chilcote, Edward Chilcote, Nicholas Hoopes, Anna Hoopes, Sierra Thomas, Savannah Thomas, Amanda and Ray Katz, Stephanie George, Timothy Fraleigh and David Hall, six great grandchildren; Phoebe Wilson, Nicholas Souders, Elliot Souders, Cole Souders, Kristen Lawn and Skilar Ray Katz, and two siblings; Larry Schwartz and Corrine Harrington both of Delaware.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.

So sad to hear this about Carol. My sincere condolences to Ed,Eddie,Luann and their entire family. Carol was always very sweet to me.

I can not imagine the pain of losing mom, She has taught everyone how to be strong enough to handle this loss, so my prayer for everyone is that the reach past the pain and into your heart where mom lives, my deepest condences. I love you mom with all my heat and soul.
