Ogie was a master plumber in business for himself, Cochranville Plumbing + Heating, since 1979 and now his sons run the business.

Ogie was a family man and loved all his family and all his extended family dearly.  He enjoyed golf, playing the harmonica, riding his mule Beau, gardening and vacationing with his family.

He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family, as he would have wished.

Ogie's first experience with Lasata was after his traumatic brain injury three years ago.  Ogie participated in therapeutic riding and this brought him great joy and peace.  Donations to Lasata Farm can be mailed to Lasata Farm, 8 Abbott Lane, Coatesville, PA 19320, or you can visit their website at https://www.lasata.org/

Sally, and family.  There really aren't any words to express our feelings.  Although we didn't know him well, Ogie was someone we wish we'd known better.  Your family is fortunate to have strong bonds and love to help you each day.

Someone shared this with us once, and we find it helps a lot. "There are 3 deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave.  The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your last name is spoken for the last time." David M. Eagleman

I have no doubt that Ogie's life will go on for decades, in stories and in our love.

Sending love to you,

Eva and Jim

I came to know Ogie through our dear friend Kristen when she asked me to pray for him after his traumatic fall in FL. It was my privilege to meet he and Sally the following summer at the Cochranville Fair when he told me about a vision he had in his hospital room of a peaceful white dove flying up into the ceiling vent.  The last time I saw Ogie was at Audette's wedding and we danced together, another privilege. Although ours was a short friendship, praying for Ogie has touched me in a special way and I now have the vision of him rising up to Heaven like a peaceful white dove!  May God comfort Ogie's family and friends. Bless them Lord.

Augie, Charlie and exstended Family, I wanted to express my sincere sadness for you and your Family. Allthough I say Sadness, I should be saying "It is with great happiness" that I got to witness how a Father and his Sons shared time and fun experiences every Thursday. I often mentioned to Augie Jr. and Charle how I thought the family Golf outings were special and that many people can not say they shared such Happy times with their Father every Thursday. Although I have three Daughters, If I had a Son I would hope that he would have joined me every Thursday. Your Family encounters every Thursday were a bright spot for me. I am thankfull that my Path crossed with Augie Senior.

Your Friend Bill
