L. Carol Robinson, 90, of Trooper, Pa, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Brightview Senior Living in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. She was the wife of the late Thomas (Robbie) R. Robinson who passed away in 2022. Born in Parkesburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Eleanor Wagner Stoner.
Carol was a graduate of the former Parkesburg High School and moved to Washington, DC, working in the Department of the Navy. It was there she met Robbie and spent years as a homemaker and raising their family. Carol then settled back into the working world and retired as an office manager in the financial services industry. In addition to her family, Carol enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and antiquing. She took great enjoyment from her many years of quilting, taking appropriate pride in creating many quilts for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Carol is survived by her children, Susan Robinson Hartranft and her husband, Thomas, Lisa Robinson Packer and her husband, Michael, and Thomas R. Robinson Jr., and his wife, Lisa Homonay Robinson, grandchildren, Toby Hartranft (Sarah), Emily Hartranft-Mulcahy (Shawn), Jordan Packer (Fionna), Margaret Packer, Thomas R. Robinson III (Chelsea), Kelsey Robinson, and Kendall Robinson, great-grandchildren, Sawyer Hartranft, Andrew Tobias Hartranft Jr., and Thomas R. Robinson IV, a brother, Robert (Diane) Stoner and a sister Sharon Stoner Sartell (Philip).
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m., July 12, 2025; at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa. Visitation will begin at 10:15 a.m. Burial to follow at the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery in Parkesburg, Pa.
