Janet Elaine (nee Dague) Yetter passed away on October 29, 2019. She was the wife of the late William J. Yetter, Jr., who passed away on February 27, 2016. They were married on November 13, 1948. Janet was born in Parkesburg, PA on October 29, 1927, and was the daughter of the late J. Parke and Jeanette H. (nee Brown) Dague.

Janet graduated from S. Horace Scott Senior High School in 1945. During the fall of 1944, she worked in the machine shop office of the former Lukens Steel Company. She returned to Lukens in 1947; leaving in 1949 to raise a family. She retired from G.O. Carlson, Inc. in 1994 with 23 years of service.

She shared her love of travel with her husband, Bill. She was an avid reader of mystery stories. 

Janet is survived by three children, a son, Gary, of Downingtown; a daughter, Donna (James) Barnes, of Coatesville; and a daughter, Nancy, of Bel Air, MD. She has three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three nephews, two nieces, a sister-in-law, Joyce (Ronald, deceased) Yetter and a sister-in-law, Marsha (Loran, deceased) Yetter.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
