Wayne R. Fielder, 75, of East Fallowfield, passed away at his home on Friday, November 3, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie Lenza Fielder with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Richard Harry Fielder and Johanna Jean Smith Pedé.

Born and raised in Delaware County, Wayne was a 1965 graduate of the Upper Darby High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War with Fighter Squadron 92. He was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation Medal with one Bronze Star, the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with device 1960.

Wayne was employed most of his life by PECO as a lineman troubleman. He was a member of the Roxborough Masonic Lodge #135.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; Eric Richard Fielder and wife Lauren of Jupiter, Florida and Kevin Christopher Fielder and wife Lisa of Jupiter, FL, six grandchildren, one sister Susan Corbit of Savannah, GA and one step brother Bob Pedé of Royersford, PA.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. Masonic Services will be performed at 10:45 AM.

Wayne was my grandfather and we shared the most special love anybody could ever imagine. He was not just my grandfather, but my best friend. He is now in eternal peace with or Lord, Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed but we will see him again someday without all of his pain. We so very loved him and will see him again in Heaven. Until then, he will be greatly missed and always remembered.
