Anthony M. "Tony" Cimellaro, 99, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 26, 2025. He was the husband of Betty J. (Donmoyer) Cimellaro for over 36 years, who subsequently passed away on July 3, 2025. Born in East Boston, MA, he was the son of the late John B. and Josephine (Adamo) Cimellaro.
Tony proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp where he was a ball turret gunner. He worked as a horseman working and training both show horses and race horses. He was a Master Marksman with the NRA and served as Senior Vice Commander of the Kennett Square VFW.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, John A. (Zenny) Cimellaro of Atlanta, GA, a grandson, Anthony J. (Kelly) Cimellaro, Atlanta, GA, grandaughter, Ashley Cimellaro (Ben) Gould of Boston, MA and great-grandchildren, Marty, Hattie, Henry and Wesley. He is also survived by step-children Donna J. Wagner of North Wales, PA, Cheryl A. Conner of Kennett Square, PA, Lisa M. Eller of Cochranville, PA, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-son Robert D. Wagner, III and daughter-in-law Patricia A. Wagner
A Celebration of Life is being planned, and when available, details will be posted here. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Kennett Square VFW.
