Marie Dolores "Jitters" Myers, 77, of Parkesburg, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family, under the care of Penn Home Hospice.  She was the widow of the late Joseph Myers, who passed away in 1978 after they had shared 18 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, Marie was the daughter of the late Catherine T. (Powers) and Joseph McGrane.  She moved to Parkesburg for the past couple years, having lived most of her life in Philadelphia, also living in Cochranville and New Jersey.

Marie worked as a waitress, CNA and most recently in housekeeping at the Veterans Administration.

She loved animals, especially her chihuahua named "Dick."  She enjoyed watching Dr. Phil, MMA, and Dr. Pimple Popper.  Marie was a sugar fanatic, and liked drinking Tetley Tea.  She loved trips to Wal-Mart and Dunkin Donuts; and enjoyed listening to Country music and R&B.

Marie had many stories she shared with her grandchildren and her door was always open for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children: Joseph, Shawn (and wife Stacey), Cherie, and Michele; 14 grandchildren and her sister, Dorrie.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine, who passed away in 2019.

The family would like to thank Chet and Kara for providing special care for Marie these past eight months.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA.  A visitation will take place at the Funeral Home from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Dear Joey, Cherie, Shawn & Michelle:  I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, I know she will be missed dearly but treasure all the memories you have of her (I'm sure there's many), and when you sit around & talk about her I know it will make you smile, that's what Jitters would want you to do. She was the best neighbor growing up on Muhlfeld Street, she always made us laugh.  Now you all have your very own guardian angel. Fly with the angels Marie, RIP.

So sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. "Jitters" Myers. She brought so much laughter and kindness to our neighborhood in SWP growing up, that I'm sure she's doing the same with the angels in heaven now.  Though hearts are heavy with feelings of lose, our prayers remind us we will see her again smiling with the Love she taught us in this lifetime. God bless to everyone while you keep those sweet memories in your hearts forever!  Sincerely, Jerry

Cheri, Joey, Shawn and Michelle,
No words can heal the break in your hearts but I know the memories your Mom has filled in all your hearts and everyone who was Blessed to know her will make each day a little easier to move forward. She has left me personally, with so many happy memories, one in particular that I still tell to this day when me and Sandy would take her car big Cadillac for a joy ride smoking her Pall Malls around the ages of 14 😂. You guys have always and will Forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Oakes family, especially "Little Oakie aka Buster" 😂.RIP Jitters and Thanks for the memories. ❤️❤️
