William E. "Willie" Johnson, 84, of Frazer, PA passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Coatesville VA Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Janice Darnell Johnson with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Born in Wyalusing, PA he was the son of the late Carl and Mildred Johnson. 

Willie proudly served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955 and was stationed in Japan with the 1603 Anti Aircraft Artillery Battery. He was self employed as a welder most of his life and was known to many as Willie the Welder. 

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by seven children; William E. Johnson, Jr. and wife Ann of Ormond, FL, Todd L. Johnson and wife Elise of Trevor, WI, Mark L. Johnson of Zephyrhills, FL, Brian J. Johnson and wife Dawn of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Jody Solari and husband Gabriel of Russellville, PA and Clark L. Johnson and wife Donna of Wyalusing, PA, one stepdaughter Brenda J. Bowen and husband Todd of Frazer, PA, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brother-in-law Charles R. Darnell of Towanda, PA and devoted friend Doug Buettner. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 400 Lancaster Ave., Frazer, PA 19355.
