Jacob Douglas Snyder, 88, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late G. Irene "Renie" Snyder, who died in 2024. They shared 67 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Harvey Ralph Snyder and Margaret Irene McAfee Snyder.

Douglas was an area resident all his life and a 1956 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School of Pottstown, PA.

Doug was involved with farming for many years and later he was employed as a truck driver in the dairy business. He was a member of the Nantmeal United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two children; Cynthia I. Snyder and Jacob Douglas Snyder, Jr. both of Honey Brook, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nantmeal United Methodist Church, 359 Nantmeal Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. A luncheon will be provided at the church immediately following the interment service.
