Lawrence E. Corle, lovingly known as Larry, passed away on October 1, 2026, at Chester County Hospital. He was born on November 16, 1966, in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Larry’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be remembered with enduring affection by his family and friends.
At the center of Larry’s life was his family. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Corle, and his father, Jim Corle. He also leaves behind his siblings: Chris Corle and his wife, Liz; Merle Corle; Sherry Gordon and her partner, Charlie Showalter; and Lori Edwards and her husband, Howard.
Larry was a devoted father and grandfather, and his family was a lasting source of pride and joy. He is survived by his daughter Samantha Columbia and her children, Uriah and Jordan; his daughter Katie McDevitt, her husband Joseph, and their children, Benjamin and Jameson; his son Austin Corle and his children, Channing, Milo and Ava; and his son Nate Corle and his children, Brielle, Paisley, and Roman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Corle, and his son, Chris Simmers.
Those who knew Larry knew he could often be found in the garage, music playing while he tinkered with one thing or another. He was always willing to follow Wendy along on one of her many ideas and adventures, and he had a special way of making his grandchildren laugh. These everyday moments—the music, the projects, the laughter, and simply being together—are the memories his family will hold especially close.
Larry will be remembered for the place he held in the lives of so many—as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His memory will live on through family gatherings, shared stories, laughter, and the lasting bonds he helped create. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at MCC, 4221 Main Street, Elverson.
