Alberta Pat Christie, 79, of Narvon, passed away at home on Thursday, May 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late William Christie who died in 2002. They shared 40 years of marriage. Born near Downingtown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Wilbur Burkey and Marietta Lessig Burkey.

Pat was an area resident all her life and a graduate of the Downingtown Area Schools. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by five children; Betty Ann "Dolly" Noles, Janet Marie "Polly" Gregor and companion Barry Glauner, Mary Jane "Molly" Marshman and husband Brad, William Lee Christie and wife Annette and Patricia Ann "Patty" Knott and husband Brian, 16 grandchildren; Scott Noles, Mike Noles (Tara), Tammy Gregor, Andy Noles (Donna), Adam Gregor, III, Angie Gregor, Heather Miller, John Miller, John "Bo" Laird, Cory Laird, Cody Laird, Matt Christie (Jolene), Zach Christie, Jason Christie, Charles DeHaven, Jr. and Heather DeHaven and 22 great grandchildren; Josh, Kirstan, Jozalyn, Alexis, Ashley, Tyler, Adam, Hailey, Jeffrey, Olivia, Jonathan, Hannah, Jeremy, Jordan, Hunter, Maddie, Shyanne, Jayonna, Liam, Parker, Chloe and Jaxson. She also helped raise Lawrence Pete Burkey, Sonya Burkey, Desi DeHaven and Dorothy "Sis" Burkey deceased. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings; Sonny, Harry, John, George, Owen, Jannette, Gladys, Bettes, Dorothy, Viola and Anna and Lillian.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Glenmoore, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 9am to 11am.
