Joanne S. Eckman, 67, of Coatesville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of James H. Eckman, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late John E. Ney and Doris M. Herb Ney.
Joanne was an area resident all her life and a 1972 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by one son James M. Eckman and wife Bobi of Coatesville, two twin sisters; Anne Morris of Benton, PA and Diane Eckenbach of Coatesville and one brother John Ney of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by one brother Edward Ney.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Parkesburg United Methodist, 411 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Jimmy andJim, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Joanne. I most recently recall her being at my grandmother's 100th birthday party a few years ago. She was so lovely to talk to and I know you all will miss her terribly. Sending you love and sympathy from our entire family,
