Pauline June Good

Pauline J. (Steffy) Good, 89, of New Holland, passed away peacefully at Newport Meadows Nursing Home, on Thursday , May 15, 2025. Pauline was born in Union Grove to her late parents Oliver and Bertha (Zimmerman) Steffy. She is survived by her spouse Earl E. Good of New Holland. They enjoyed 74 years of marriage, which they celebrated on April 28, 2025. The family surprised them with a private dinner at Newport Meadows Nursing Home where they enjoyed their favorite foods together and reminisce about their years of marriage and their family.

Pauline grew up in Union Grove, raised her family in Churchtown, and retired in New Holland. She graduated from Terre Hill High School. She was employed by ELANCO School District in Food Service for 28 years. Pauline started working in the junior high and high school cafeteria and later became the manager at Summit Valley Elementary School. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church, attending Bridgeville EC in Beartown, PA and presently Mount Culmen EC in East Earl, PA. Pauline enjoyed traveling with her family and close friends. Enjoying camping, beach trips, bus trips with her husband and with her mother, as well as going to the mountains with friends. She enjoyed spending time in the pool with her grandchildren and family. In later years she enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren playing board games, crafts, watching tv, eating at McDonald's, watching them drive or ride on the tractor with their Pop and attending their band and chorus concerts. She was very proud of her family and all of their accomplishments. She loved spending time with her granddogs, grandcats, and grandrabbits.

Pauline is survived by her child Barry L. Good and his spouse Nancy E. Good of New Holland. In addition she is survived by her grandchildren Jennifer L. (Good) Swanson married to Arthur G. Swanson of New Holland, and Jaime L. (Good) Risser married to Christopher S. Risser of Morgantown, PA. She is also had two great grandchildren Lillie E. Risser of Kutztown and Dustin A. Swanson of Kutztown. In addition to her child and grandchildren she is survived by her siblings Ruth (Steffy) Hurst of New Holland, Richard Steffy of East Stroudsburg, Erma (Steffy) Mohler married to Nelson Mohler of Delaware, and Eugene Steffy married to Mary of Lampeter Strasburg.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May, 22, 2025 at Bridgeville EC Cemetery, 5971 Division Highway, Narvon, PA 17555, beginning at 11:00 AM.
