Ruth Beatrice Perkins, 81, of West Bradford Township, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 17, 2023.

Ruth was born in Coatesville, PA, on December 12, 1941, to the late Andrew and Beatrice Arnold Arasin. Throughout her adulthood years, Ruth faithfully served the Lord with her husband in various children’s church ministries. She touched many young lives through her years of service. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church in her later years where she continued to serve the Lord by assembling Bibles in different languages.

Ruth was the endearing wife of Gary Lee Perkins for over 57 years and will be missed greatly by him. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Gary Perkins of California, Bruce Perkins (Sandra) of South Carolina, and Michelle DiCamillo (Dante) of Glenmoore, to whom she was a loving mother and friend. Ruth was a beloved “Grammy”  to and survived by: Heather Ann DiCamillo-Rodriguez (Christian), Dante Chris DiCamillo (Hannah), Megan Brianna DiCamillo, and Charissa Michelle DiCamillo, Matthew Perkins, Elizabeth Perkins- Hanaway (Christofer), Joshua Perkins (Kayla), and Hannah Perkins-Levan (Ryan), great-grandchildren: Ariabella Rodriguez, Lachlan Hanaway, and Sydney Hanaway. She is also survived by her sister Mary Lyons of Coatesville.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Baptist Church, 200 Airport Rd., Coatesville, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Run Baptist Cemetery in Atglen, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Valley Baptist Church Bible Printing Ministry.

I worked with Ruth at Chemical Leaman and She was the nicest person.  She loved her family and talked about them all the time.  I remember there was something about a tissue that either I was sending to Michelle or she was sending to me as a joke.  Sorry to hear of her passing.  God Bless Ruth and her family.
