Trisha Simmons passed away in the arms of her loving husband Jason on October 25, 2026, at the age of 52 after a short battle with cervical cancer. She was born on June 7, 1974. She moved through life with a spirit that was unmistakably her own, she was fun and loving, free-spirited, and strong-minded, with a presence that made itself known. She met the world on her own terms, and those who knew her will remember well that she carried herself with a determined heart and a memorable sense of conviction.
A graduate of Pequea Valley High School, Class of 1992, Trisha went on to build working relationships and lasting connections as a bartender and server at Brickette Lounge and a waitress at the DK Diner in West Chester. In these roles, she brought her personality to the people around her, offering not only her work but the warmth, energy, and candor that made her who she was.
Trisha found joy in life’s simple and lasting pleasures. She loved watching football, creating art and crafts, and spending time gardening. The outdoors called to her often, and she answered with happiness whether biking, hiking, or simply enjoying the beauty around her. Some of the memories held most closely by those who loved her include drives along Creek Road, fishing with the kids, and vacations at the cabin, moments that now carry the deep comfort of remembrance.
She is survived by her loving husband whom she was with for over 26 years, Jason Simmons their children Jayden and Stella along with Trisha's older children Kevin and Amy, her grandson Dusten, her beloved Uncle Herb, her mother Wanda, father Ronald and brothers Robert and Ronald along with her Aunt Barb, Uncle Mike and Uncle Kelly
In the sorrow of parting, may the memory of Trisha’s lively spirit, her love of the outdoors, and the many everyday moments she made special remain a lasting source of comfort. Trisha will be remembered with affection for the life she lived and the unmistakable way she lived it. May her memory continue to bring warmth to all who knew and loved her.
