Richard E. "Rick" Pieper, 62, of Paradise, PA passed away tragically on Thursday, October 29, 2026 as the result of a motorcycle accident while he was headed to work. He was the beloved husband of Melanie Ann George Pieper with whom he shared over 36 years of marriage. Born in Oneida, New York, he was the son of the late Richard E. "Dick" Pieper and Linda M. Murray Pieper.

Soon after graduating from high school Rick enlisted in the US Army in 1982 and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1986.

He was employed by Heidelburg Materials, Aggregates Quarry of Downingtown, PA where he served as scalehouse master.

Rick was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; Anthony Jeffrey George and Cody Allen Pieper both of Paradise. he was preceded in death by one brother Randy Pieper.
