Jane Ann Mullen, 90, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the home of her niece in Downingtown, PA.  Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Letitia M. Booth Mullen.

Jane Ann graduated from Parkesburg High School in 1950 and worked as an operator for Bell Telephone.  She later worked for Fred's Clothing and Simon's Shoe Store in Coatesville. Most recently she worked at Over The Rainbow and Curiosity Corner Daycare in Parkesburg.  She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Parkesburg.  She was an avid roller skater and a familiar face at Caln roller rink, where she had many friends.  She was a lover of animals, especially her favorite dog "Snuggles" that was her trusted companion, and could be seen walking him all over town.  In her later years, she would pet sit and you couldn't have had a better pet sitter.  Miss Jane loved to read, put puzzles together, and enjoyed watching old reruns of Gun Smoke and other western tv shows in which she knew all the characters, it was her daily ritual.  Miss Jane treasured her faith and loved being with her family and all of her beloved friends.

She is survived by a sister-in-law Dawn Mullen, many nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lillian Mowery, George “Peanut" Mullen, Robert Mullen, Barbara Jean Mullen, and Shirley May Rigoroso.
