Geoffrey Hubert Simmons, 63, formerly of Parkesburg, PA, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Brandywine Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Chester, PA. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Vernon F. Simmons and Carmelita Dupuy Simmons. 

Geoff was an area resident all his life and a 1977 graduate of the Octorara Area High School. He was employed by Home Depot in Parkesburg as a sales representative. He attended Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg, PA.

He is survived by three children; Derrick Simmons and wife Ariana of Lititz, PA, Angela Simmons of Manheim, PA and Jennifer Simmons of Lancaster, PA, three grandchildren; Annabella and Bianca Simmons and Darius Beldoda and two siblings; Claudia Johnson of Newark, DE and Charles Simmons and wife Daneen of Sugar Land, Texas. He was preceded in death by one brother Vernon Anthony Simmons. 

Service will be private at the convenience of the family.

I ALWAYS CALLED HIM JEFF. I WORKED  WITH HIM, MARYJO AND CARMALITA  AT THE HOSPITAL . I LOVED THEM ALL SO MUCH. CARMALITA WAS SO SPECIAL TO ME.. JEFF WAS  SO SWEET. AND HAD A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR. I REMEMBER HOW EXCITED HE AND MARYJO WERE TO GET MARRIED, GET THEIR HOME ON CEMETARY ROAD ACROSS FROM MY SISTER DARLENE KUHNS AND WHEN THIER FIRSTBORN ARRIVED. GOODNESS ITS SEEMS LIKE FOREVER, IVE LIVED IN FLORIDA FOR 18 YRS SO I'D LOST CONTACT WITH ALL MY FRIENDS UP HOME. I PRAY OUR LORD SURROUNDS ALL OF YOU  WITH HIS LOVE AND PEACE..

I worked with Jeff and his mother at the hospital. He was the nicest guy. Always had a big smile! RIP Jeff!!
