Frances "Frankie" Ann Maxwell, 70, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at her home. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Mickey L. and Matilda Miller Harrington.

Frankie was a Coatesville area resident most of her life and a 1970 graduate of CASH. She was employed by Handicrafters of Thorndale retiring as employment specialist. 

She was a member of the Coatesville Choraleers when they got to perform behind the "Iron Curtain" in Romania. 

She is survived by three children; Heide Kramer of Coatesville, Abbey Williams of West Chester and George Rissell of Coatesville, four grandchildren; Michael Hopper-Williams of Downingtown, Christopher Hopper of Coatesville, Katy Hopper of Green Lane, and Giulianna DeMarco of West Chester, five great grandchildren; Michael Hopper-Williams, Jr. of Lancaster, Evelyn Conners of Green Lane, Hunter Williams of Downingtown, Addy Miller of Green Lane and Elaina Williams of Downingtown, Aunt Dottie & Joe LeBoon of Coatesville and four siblings; Jan Ring of Harrisburg, Mickey Harrington of Bowmansville, David Harrington of Grimesland, NC and Kathy Trofe of Denver, PA. She was preceded in death by one son Louis Maxwell.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made in her memory to Handicrafters or the American Cancer Society.

I will always remember Frankie as a very kind and loving person. She was a sweet soul and I send my heartfelt condolences to her friends and loved ones, especially her daughters (my nieces) Heide and Abbey.

I have known Mickey & Matilda's family for many years and Frankie was so special, she had a way of making you laugh. She also let you know that she was there to help if you needed.
