To Ed and Pat’s kids and all of her family, I was so very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing.  We have known each other since High School, haven’t kept up over the years, but still have many memories since maybe 1965.  Snow storms, my 16th birthday party at Aunt Dots, borrowing Aunt Dots fur coats for the proms, going to see Jess at Staunton Military Academy and so much more.  I know you will be missed by everyone.  RIP girl and we will see you again one day.

My condolences to all of Pat’s family. I’ve known and loved her for 49 years. We raised our kids next door to each other, grew into adults with all the highs and lows together, became grandparents together and grew old together. She was so proud of her kids and who they became as adults and she loved her grandchildren. We shared parochial school uniforms back and forth, took our kids to the bay and camping, slip and slides in the back yard and always a yard full of neighborhood kids. When the kids grew up we enjoyed “runaway weekends”, shopping, eating, sharing family stories and laughing. Thankfully we had husbands who were good with our friendship. I love her family as my own because they were such a huge part of her. She was a hard worker who always had some sort of job. She had a heart of gold and couldn’t say no to anyone who needed her. She gave everything she had to life and her many friends. I know I am just one of so many who will miss her terribly.

Cousin Patty was always full of life. Her laughter and joy were contagious. Her monkeys made us laugh. Patty loved family and organized recent Hartshorne family reunions.
Lots of early memories at Aunt Dot’s house in Malvern, and gatherings at grandmothers and Aunt Betty’s.
Ed, she loved you very much. Patty loved her children and siblings. This is a tough lose.

A reminder that each day is a gift.
My love and sympathy to all.

None of us could ever forget that time, Linda. So glad Cousin Cindy mentioned what fun Patty brought our family--always a mischievous smile. My ❤ hurts! Thanks for the memories dating back to when you were the baby, Ron & I a few years older, in our house of nine. Gone, but NEVER forgotten.

We attended GVHS together, sharing many classes.  She was a kind and friendly person, and will be missed.
