James H. Zynn, 78, of East Brandywine Township passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Marvin R. Zynn and Emma (McGinnis) Zynn. James was survived by his loving wife Vida (Matthews) Zynn with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. 

He was a graduate of Downingtown High School, class of 1962. 

A coach of Downingtown Little League for 20 years. 

He was a business partner of J+B General Contractor’s for over 30 years.  

Jim enjoyed fishing and traveling especially to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. 

He is survived in addition to his wife by a daughter Denise (James) of Coatesville and a son James and wife Lisa of Downingtown; one brother, Marvin and wife Betty Lou of Maryland. Additionally, he is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, two grandchildren: Emma and Ryan, and most of all his great-grandsons Cole and Jaxson (Pops). 

At the request of the decedent and family there will be no viewing or services.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jim! Aunt Vida, you are in my prayers. I have so many great memories of when we were young, playing at your house and as an adult, visiting. Please know I'm thinking of you. I love you and I love my Uncle Jim!
