My twin Brutha from anotha mutha!  That was one our many sayings. Ricky was the best friend I’ve ever had!  He was an amazing man with an incredible heart!! He was so proud and loved his daughters with every inch of his soul! We had so many good times together reenacting and eating SpaghettiOs and french fries  while we watched the same movies over and over!!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this difficult time! My life will never be the same without My brutha!! R I P  Ricky! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We won’t repeat what others have already said. Always looked forward to seeing Rick and finding out what sort of nuttiness he’d been up to. Never let us down in that regard.

Fondest memory was taking Life Teen to play paintball. MaryAnn was a pro while I was god-awful. Out of the game within the first minute every time. Naturally Rick reminded me of it only about a hundred times.

We will always miss him. God Bless, Rick.

One of the kindest souls on this earth who lived his daughters to the moon and back. A great guy with a fun sense of humor. I will miss you at the Super Bowl parties. You always baked the best apple pie! WWII weekend will not be the same. Never did get to swing dance with you. Hope you and Sulli are having a laugh or two in heaven. You are definitely missed here on earth. ❤️

My wife Criss and I send our deepest sympathies to all of Rickey's friends and family.
He was one of the handiest guys I knew, his work around his home and at the French Village at Reading Airport was amazing. He will be sorely missed, not only because of his skills but also because of the kind of person he was. Rest in Peace.

I'm not someone who saw Rick frequently, but I feel I knew him well from the times I did see him. He was that genuine. And I feel that he was a warm, caring, helping, loving, moral, person, with an infectiously upbeat demeanor. No one is perfect, but I'm so happy to have known Rick. And sad to not have spent more time with him. Take this time to reflect, and plan more time with those like him!

Rick has been a friendever since Diane and I started participating in the Reading WW II event.  Rick kidded me about being the Canadian pilot who always dropped in for breakfast.  Who can blame me, his creations in the kitchen matched his creativity in whatever task he set before him.  Rick was a gentleman and a friend. All of our lives have been made richer for having known Rick.

Adieu mon ami

We go together like peas and carrots.  You were my Forrest and I was your Jenny.  You would say “You’ll always be my girl, Jen-Nay”.    So many years of great times we spent together.   Texting or calling all the time to fill each other in on the daily stuff.  I’ve never in my life had a closer friend.   I’m forever grateful for everything we shared.   So many more things we had planned to do together that we didn’t get to.   I’ll remember the many times we laughed till we couldn’t breathe and all the dumb stuff we’d say!   You were a wonderful father to your girls and the greatest friend.   We all miss you so much already.   Rest easy my friend.    And…I’ll ALWAYS  be your girl, Jenny.  ❤️

Ricky,
I am sorry I could not make it home in time for your service. I hope the flowers turned out great. You left your mark on so many of us. I will miss seeing you around the village and especially on Saturday nights.

My dad was the best. The earliest memory I have is of him showing me how to plant a peach tree in my back yard in Christiana. He had so many skills, gardening/farming/cooking being one of my favorites. He taught me how to create my own garden, more importantly to be patient and nurturing. He loved his pets and cared for them so much. At one point he had 17 outdoor cats, he just couldn’t turn them away. He even built them an outdoor cat house for when it rained. He showed me what kindness truly meant. He knew just about everything. And if he didn’t… he would search for information on YouTube. He always made my sisters and I watch the craziest/dumbest videos. In fact, one of our last memories together we were watching prank fails and listened to him laugh so loudly. I would give anything to sit and watch with him now. I wish to carry on my dads memory & be just like him.
