Norman "Ted" Moulder, 77, of Parkesburg, passed away on April 22, 2022 under the care of Chester County Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Jean Herron Moulder, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Norman was the son of the late Emma (Taylor) and Norman T. Moulder.  Norman attended Downingtown Schools and graduated from Kailua Hawaii High School in 1962.  He served honourably as a US Marine from 1962 to 1965 in Cuba, during the Cuban Crisis. He worked as a cable splicer for Bell Telephone from 1967 until his retirement in 2002. After retirement, he worked part-time for Longenecker Pharmacy and Citadel Bank.

Norman was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation Church, Parkesburg.  He was a member of the Octorara Wrestling Booster Club and served on the Coatesville Library Board and the Sadsbury Historical Society.  

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four children: Erich David Moulder of San Diego, CA, Todd Ellingsworth Moulder, and wife Nadine, of Dubai, UAE, Denise Marie Meli of Coatesville, and Erin Lee Lazos, wife of Pete, of Parkesburg; and nine grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Judy Ellingsworth and Fred Moulder.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church,  603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365.  Visitation will take place on both Sunday evening, May 1st at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg from 6 to 7:45 PM (with a military service beginning at 7:45) and on Monday at Our Lady of Consolation Church from 9:30 - 10:30 AM until the time of the service.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. I had only met Ted a few years ago.
