Dear Jean , Laura and Alan, I am so very sorry about Alan. I just found out today. When Kate came for her birthday, She came out into the yard and told me, I was so in shock that I forgot everything else. My family and I are so heartbroken. I am so sad today. I was talking to Alan not to long ago, I was walking and he called me over to talk, I gave him a hug, but I knew by looking at him he was not well. After that he was in my prayers. I will always remember him for being so silly. Jennifer is in Holland and I told her, she just cried, We are all crying. It is a very sad day for us as well. We will never forget him. God will take care of him now. Losing my Father nine years ago, I am still thinking about him everyday, and also losing my brother in november was a heartache as well. God Bless all of you. Love The Carney Family.

All of us at Transco are deeply saddened from Alan's passing. We have missed him since he left us last year. He always had a kind word, or a joke, or a quip that would put a smile on our faces.

We will remember Alan always for the friendship he gave us. We trust he is at rest with the Lord. May you all be wrapped in God's grace through the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jeanie and Family,
So sorry to hear of the death of Alan. The two of you have been together a long time, since high school. May God bless you and your children with the strength to go on. There is a poem, "A Whisper from Heaven", which ends with the words ......"And when it's time for you to go, do not be alarmed for I'll be waiting patiently right here with open arms." I'm sure your love for Alan and your family will keep you going. Be strong and trust in the Lord.

With Sympathy,
Andi

Dearest Jean, Laura, and Alan, Jr,
I will always remember the very special family I met at Friendship so many years ago. All the PTA meetings, book fairs, Santas Secret Shop, field day, fundraisers....Alan, Sr. was always there to lend a hand with a quick wit. He took such pride in Alan,Jr. and Laura's accomplishments and was always there to support them. Jean, as we became friends, our paths crossed often as our children grew into the wonderful adults that they are today.
I so hope that all the good memories will bring you some comfort in this time of such sadness.
Mrs. Janet Hochella
