Ronald L. Haines, Sr., 57, of Kinzers, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Kimberly A. (Miller) Haines, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Ronald was the son of the late Roberta L. (Thompson) and Robert W. Taylor.  He was a 1978 graduate of the Coatesville High School.  

Ronald was a EMT and Firefigher for Paoli Fire Co.  He was a life member of West End and Washington Hose Co.

Ronald is survived by his three children: Christina Haines of Brandamore, Ronald L. Haines Jr., and fiance Sharon, of Gap, and Kaitlyn Haines of Kinzers; two grandchildren, Verdon Taylor and Jacob Haines; siblings, Richard Thompson and wife Carol of Baltimore and Cynthia Deloplaine and husband Will of Lancaster; his nieces and nephews and his god-grandson, Kol Pate.  

He was preceded in death by his siblings: brothers, Mickey Haines and Robert Taylor, Jr., and sisters, Betty Jane Taylor, Florence Swift, and Rose Shute.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11th at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen, PA.  Viewing will be from 9:30am until 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home at the above address to help defray funeral expenses.
