I met Peter in the twilight of his life, but that didn’t stop us from becoming good friends.  We met as part of the Mental Health Advisory Council in Coatesville PA.  And grew closer until his last days here.  I admired how Peter didn’t allow his illness to affect his personality.  He stayed upbeat and always had a smile when I saw him.  Despite what he was going through physically, he would always sit up and talk about the many books he read and about how family was the most important thing.  As we swapped stories and shared laughs together, I will never forget his kind words about me to my kids who met him on several occasions.

Peter, you will be missed, but I will hold on to the memories we shared and your words of wisdom. Till I see you again, keep them on their toes in heaven Peter.

RIP, love Marcus.
