Glenmoore, Pennsylvania

Doris Ellen Bair, 88, of Glenmoore, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 4th, 2022.  She was the widow of the late Nathan Bair, who passed away in 2009 after they had shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Christiana, Doris was the daughter of the late Esther (Stanley) and George Wettig.  She was a graduate of Coatesville High School.  Doris belonged to Glenmoore Methodist Church.

Doris enjoyed being a homemaker and a homebody.  From a young age, Doris loved to ride horses, especially her horse "Nope"; she also participated in fox hunts.  She enjoyed her donkeys, "Jaky" and "Hanna".  Doris made all the holiday dinners and would often experiment with different casserole recipes.  She liked chocolate and oatmeal cookies.

Doris is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Gilbert, wife of Hix, of Glenmoore, Jody Ramstine, wife of Doug, of Cochranville, and Kelly Dankanich, wife of Ron, of Glenmoore; five grandchildren, Hix Gilbert, RJ Townsend, Ronnie and Kendal Dankanich, and Jordan Bair; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Gilbert, and Silas and Wolf Townsend.

At Doris' request, the memorial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.  Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com
