William Wilson Slider, 72, of Narvon passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Davis Sylvester Slider and May Viola (Ochs) Slider. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia A. Saucier-Slider, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

William attended Pequea Area School District and went on to honorably serve our nation as a Specialist in the United States Army during Vietnam. He later worked as a Millwright for Bishop Tube Mill located in Malvern and most recently worked at Martin Limestone located in New Holland.

William enjoyed tinkering in his garage, playing card games, camping, and riding his Harley Davidson. He was extremely self-reliant; he built his own home and designed a variety of inventions to help with household chores.

He will be missed immensely by his family which he valued over everything. He was an excellent teacher and always tried to help others when possible.

He is survived in addition to his wife by four children: Tammy Slider of Florida, Debbie Slider of Pennsylvania, and Billy Slider of Pennsylvania, and Ann J. Slider of Narvon. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by ten siblings: Viola Mae-Slider, Davis F. Slider, Sylvester Slider, Ruth Ann Slider-Blechman, John Slider, Eleanor D. Slider-Arment, Elizabeth L. Slider Kohl, Linda Slider-Hartwell, Helen Slider-Troy, and Bink Bernard Slider.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period from 3 PM until the start of the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
