William Gordon Donnelly, Sr., 81, of Nottingham, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 21, 2010.  
 
He was the husband of Betty Greer Donnelly, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.  
 
 
Born on Friday, April 19, 1929 in West Grove, he was the son of the late Julius and Helen Gordon Donnelly.  An area resident his entire life, he was employed by the Walter Harris of West Grove as a Milk Truck Driver.
 
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children Robyn A. Dempsey, wife of Russell, of Calvert, Md. and William Gordon Donnelly Jr., husband of Elsie, of Nottingham; two grandchildren William G. Donnelly III and Alan Dempsey, wife Sherry; one great grandchild AJ Dempsey.  
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Beulah Baptist Cemetery in Russellville.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
