Condolences

We will miss Marlin.  He was so active in family genealogy and hope that someone will take over his web site.  I, a distant cousin, am so, so sorry to hear of his passing.  So young to go so soon.  God be with him.

Marlin, I want to thank you for making my sister the happiest I have ever seen her. I can't understand why you were taken away so soon but one thing I know is that you will always be in my heart. The love and compassion that you showed everyone will never be forgotten; you were a true friend and loved by all you ever met. It was a privelege to call you a brother-in-law and friend. I will forever be grateful that you came into or lives and you will live on forever in our hearts.

We love you,

Jamie and Robert

We never got to meet, but through the chats you was so sweet. You knew I hated history, but got me liking a lot of it that you posted. And was so happy that you made Lynn happy. My heart is broke for all of us. Bye my friend, my cousin, and may we meet again in Heaven.

Dear Marlin, I know you made Lynn the happiest women alive and her happiness made me happy. You were honestly a wonderful man, not only did I enjoy seeing her face light up every time she spoke to you but I enjoyed our long conversations and debates while we sat outside with Molly and Rex when you would come to visit. I didn't have you as a friend for long but you were a great one and you will be truly missed by all of us in NC who had the pleasure of getting to know you.

I am so thankful that you two have enjoy what few get too. I also know that Heaven rejoiced Friday at your home coming. I have no doubts you are resting in the loving arms of Jesus. I know you love my friend and nothing changes that. I pray God hold each one of your LOVE ones and comforts broken hearts. Earth lost a strong man. But Heaven needed you home. Love to all from NC. I would like to send the entire Strouth Family Sincere Sympathy Prayers, at this time of such a great loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Marlin, as a young man, through the Strouth family, when I lived on Hall Lane WestChester, Pa. I remember him, the few times I saw him, as quiet and polite. His loss will be felt by many people and will be missed dearly. He is at rest now and is with Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ, however Marlin is not gone, he remains alive in our hearts, through memories.  Memories can not be taken or replaced meaning our dear loved oned  is only a thought away he lived tucked in our hearts and can visit him each and every day.  Marlin, Heaven is a little brighter because you are there, may God have Mercy and Grace on your loved ones, and Bless them and Keep them through this difficult time.  For the Family and Loved ones of Marlin:  "The Oak Tree":  A Mighty Wind Blew Night and Day, It Stole the Oak Tree's Leaves Away; then Snapped it Boughs and Pulled its Bark Until the Oak was Tired and Stark.  But Still the Oak Tree held its Ground, While Other Trees Fell all Around.  The Weary Wind gave up and Spoke, "How can you still be Standing Oak?"  The Oak Tree said, " I Know that you can Break each Branch of Mine in Two, Carry Every Leaf Away, Shake My Limbs, and Make Me Sway.  But I have Root Stretched in the Earth, Growing Strong Since My Birth. You'll Never Touch Them, for You See, They are the deepest part of me. Until Today, I Wasn't Sure of Just How Much I Could Endure.  But Now I've Found, With Thanks to You, My Friend, I am Stronger Than I Ever Knew.  To the Family and Friends, of Marlin, I pray you can be, As Strong as This Mighty Oak Tree.

With Blessings, Prayers and Much Love

I only met Marlin on Facebook a year or two ago through our family page. It was so nice to meet a cousin that I would have never met otherwise. My mother's maiden name is Strouth. He seemed like such a kind and friendly person and seemed very excited about life. Marlin it was so nice to have met you. Rest in Peace!
