Lillie L. Jackson, 92, of Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Conestoga View Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was the widow of the late Raymond P. Jackson. Born in Spotsylvania, VA she was the daughter of the Joseph and Mattie Cook Woodward.

Lillie was an area resident since 1942 and she was a member of the Ercildoun Church of Christ.



She is survived by two daughters; Saundra, wife of Brian Worst of East Fallowfield and Vanessa, wife of Kenneth Lake of Coatesville and three grandchildren; Katie Worst, David Worst and David Fuller, II. Lillie was the last of 12 siblings. She was preceded in death by two sons; Samuel Smith, Jr. and Raymond P. Jackson, Jr.



Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ercildoun Church of Christ, 750 Doe Run Road, East Fallowfield followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday evening, March 22, from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg and also from the Church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to the time of the service.
