Kenneth Gerald Emerson, 90, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Accentcare Hospice Center in Wilmington, Delaware. Born in Sadsburyville, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph Waldo Emerson and Mary E. Bergey Emerson.
Ken was a Chester County resident most of his life. He was employed by the Hewlett Packard Company in the finance department retiring in 1990.
He is survived by a host of nephews and nieces. He was the last family survivor of his generation of 11 individuals. He was also preceded in death by his long time partner Terry L Groff.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

We only now (a month after the fact) heard of Ken's passing. Concern arose when Ken could not be reached by phone. A web search, hoping to find his whereabouts, led to his obituary. This is truly a sad loss for us all.
