Jeanne G. Hope, 66, of Wagontown, died on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She was the widow of the late Henry Hope and 25 year companion of Clyde "Mac" McFarland. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Devlin Giannotta.
An area resident her entire life, she was a 1965 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. She was employed, for 45 years, by the Sheller Oil Company in West Chester.
She is survived by one son Greg D. Hope and wife Tracy of Downingtown, six grandchildren; Ashley, Azlyn, Anthony, Cole, Mya and Chase Hope and five siblings; Darlene Hoskins of Glenmoore, Donna Hemmingway of Wagontown, Nicholas Giannotta of Kirkwood, Michael Giannotta of Clewiston, FL and Joseph Giannotta of Ocean Pines, MD. She was preceded in death by a son Timothy Hope.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:30am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30am.
