Arlene Mae Wagner, 92, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, January, 21, 2018 at the Hickory House Nursing home of Honey Brook, PA. She was the widow of the late William H. Wagner who died in 1996. They shared 45 years of marriage together. Born in Honey Brook, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elsie Rineer Barkley.

Arlene was a County resident all her life and a 1943 graduate of the Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed by Millprint of Downingtown, which later became Reynolds, retiring in 1988 with 44 years of service.

She is survived by one daughter Linda D. Brown and husband William of Coatesville, one grandson Timothy Brown of Wagontown and one great granddaughter Rebekah Brown of Pottstown, also Timothy’s friend Kim Ivey and sons Gabe Ivey and Mitchell Baker. She was preceded in death by one grandson Christopher Brown and three siblings; Hilda Johnson, Scott Barkley and Gail Meadows.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.

My mother in law Sue Gregor and I were just remembering your mother Mae today. Laughing about her and Clara Hawks games of skipbo. She was a great lady and a great friend. We are so sorry for your loss.
