Absolutely loved this man! My time with him at Newport Meadow was filled with laughter and sharing stories of his past..His smiles as he told of Jitter Bug dance competitions..flying airplanes over Balwins Garage ..hiring veterans first to work in his garage..meeting his precious Mary Ella...stories of war time..he made so many people smile /laugh on the days he was out and about on the units...Thank you for allowing me to share part of this amazing man's journey

"Uncle" Don [11]
My parents, Marty and Joyce Freese, were blessed with wonderful friends -- Uncle Don and Aunt Mary Ella are just two of them! There are many wonderful memories from younger days, growing up and visiting the horses in the barn and of boating in the pond! Uncle Don always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye! Sending much love and many prayers during this difficult time, but holding on to the fact that he is whole again and reunited with heavenly loved-ones.
