Scott, my sympathy and thoughts are with you at this time.
Sympathy to you and your family [6]
Dear Scott,
We send our empathy to you and your family as you grieve your father’s death. Thankfully, we know his suffering is over. I like to imagine your mother and the deceased Martins welcoming him into heaven. Your parents were wonderful neighbors and friends. We cherish many fond memories of them and hope you do as well. Thank you for calling.
Sincerely, Nancy and Don
Sorrows for your loss [7]
Dear Scott and family,
Many condolences over the passing of your dad. Bill was always a cheerful presence on the front porch, always greeting us with a friendly wave as we walked by with the pups, or stopped to sit on the stoop and chat for a bit. Atglen misses him already.
Scott and family [8]
Your dad was a great neighbor, I remember when he would come down on his tractor and plow my garden for me and give Jason rides on it too. I'm really glad I got to help him out this past year and a half. He would always wave from the porch when you'd drive by. Be good and be careful he'd always tell me before I'd leave him to go home. I will really miss him.
A good man [9]
Bill was one of the group of men who came into the Atglen Market for coffee and newspaper everyday on their way to the post office. From the store they went to Post Office and shared their stories, always around 10:00 AM. They knew everything that was going on in Atglen and always had a lot of laughs. Bill was the last one of the group to leave us.....I always enjoyed talking to him while he sat on porch with his pipe. He will be missed greatly...RIP Bill.
Bill RIP [10]
So sorry for Claudia & Stacey. Bill was probably the last of the post office gang. You will be missed!
Sorry to hear of your loss [11]
Scott, sorry to hear about the loss of your dad in his passing. It’s always hard to lose parents no matter what their age. Praying for you to experience God's peace and grace as you say goodbye for now to him. Thankfully we have hope in Christ that we will see our loved ones again in heaven. Blessings, Kevin Watterson
So sorry for your loss. [12]
So sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry to hear of the [13]
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of "Mr . B". We came to know Bill from the post office, happening upon the post office gang when I was walking with my toddler to collect my mail. We found out that we are related, had the pleasure of spending time with Mr and Mrs "B" discussing geneology as a part of a school project for that same toddler as he got older. Mr. B (or maybe Mrs. B) remembered that same toddler with a birthday card for many years. As we moved out of the boro we saw less of him, but he will always hold a special part on our family tree as well as in our hearts. Our condolences to you.
