William J. Simmons, Sr.

William J. Simmons, Sr., 69, passed away on March 21, 2017 at the Brandywine Hospital.  Born in Venice, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Ida Pozzobon Simmons.

He worked as an equipment operator for City Construction.

He is survived by his children, William J. Simmons, Jr and wife Sarah from Marianna, Florida, Kimberly Simmons of Kinzers, Steve Simmons and fiancé Maria Marconi of Newark, DE, ten grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and siblings, Jimmy Simmons, Tony Simmons, Irma Skowook and Tammy Simmons.
