William H. Lowrey Jr., 76, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana.  He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann Rowan Lowrey.  Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late William H. and Ruth Henry Lowrey Sr.

An area resident most his life William worked as an autocar maker and was a member of the Parkesburg VFW Post 4480. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by a son, William H. Lowrey III and wife, Mindi Wise, of Denver, PA, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother, Rick Lowrey of Coatesville.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
