William H. Brown

William H. Brown, 71, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the Hickory House of Honey Brook, PA. He was the beloved husband of Linda D. Wagner Brown with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Alfred Howard Brown and Eleanor Ammon Brown Smith.

Bill was an area resident all his life and a 1971 graduate of the Coatesville Area Senior High School. Down through the years, Bill was employed at Baldwins Garage, Layton and Greenfield, Diversified Printing, Maxwell Communications, Quebecor, Quad Graphics, JD Eckman and lastly by International Paper of Atglen, PA.

He was an active member of the Christiana Masonic Lodge #417, Christiana, PA, where he served as secretary.

Bill enjoyed fishing trips to Ocean City, MD and spending time on the beach, working on his tractors, doing small projects at home but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son Timothy Brown, (Kim) granddaughter Rebekah Brown, and grandsons Gabe and Mitchell Brown, one brother Alfred Brown and wife Diane and nieces and nephews; Michele, Angela, Suzanne, Chad, and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher M. Brown, brother John Brown and sister Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with Masonic Services beginning at 10:45 AM followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Christiana Masonic Lodge or the American Liver Foundation.
