Thomas J. Ellis, Sr., 66, of St. Peters, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Brandywine Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Harn) Ellis. He served honorable in the US Army.

He was employed by American Roofing as a Roofer.

He is survived by four children: Dawn Villard, Sherry Ellis, Vincent Ellis and Thomas J. Ellis, Jr.; and eight siblings;, John Ellis, Jr., Edward Ellis, B.J. Ellis, Dwight Ellis, Patrick Ellis, Mark Ellis, Geraldine Ashjian and Dot Scorcino.
